There’s always something new to learn.

Especially along the journey of overcoming and becoming.

Lately, I’ve spent more time being present and practicing stillness. In stillness, you have to sit with your thoughts. I recently wrote a short piece about how tending to thoughts leads to genuine happiness.

Thoughts can keep us from happiness, too.

Sitting with my thoughts, I’ve noticed (as I have many times before) that negative thoughts often come to my mind more naturally than positive ones. This fact makes me feel disappointed.

It brings on more negative thoughts… like a snowball effect.

I should have figured this out by now.
There must be something wrong with me.
Maybe I will never be able to change this.

The Universe thankfully has been looking out for me, as it always is. I came across a concept and method for transforming negative thoughts today.
