I can imagine the panic you felt the next day! It’s awesome that you wrote about this and the humor was just perfect! 😆

Here’s what I’ve told my boys about jail: If you ever end up there (for something you are guilty of doing) don’t call me. There is where you will stay. My oldest (18 and 16) are incredible kids and have yet to get into trouble. I’m hopeful the same will go for my youngest two (11 and 2).

I used to tell them about an early boyfriend of mine who went to jail because he apparently sat in a car while friends stole from a construction site (they were later pulled over). They have never had friends who get into trouble either.
