Six months of practicing writing online and I didn't feel as close to “finding my writer’s voice” as I thought I should.

I started questioning whether I truly understood what it meant for one to find their writer’s voice — and how I’d even know when I had.

I’m writing to share the answers with you!

You’ll also learn about the other ways (besides writing all the time) I used to “find” my writer’s voice — and fast.

Let’s jump in!

When writing, the unique way you combine your point of view (and/or message) with word choice, sentence structure, use of punctuation, and tone makes up your writer’s voice.

Here’s surprising news you weren’t expecting — you already have your writer’s voice!

What you really seek to understand is the dynamics of the relation between your writer’s voice and your readers.

Such knowledge allows you to refine your writer’s voice until it’s illuminating and influential (with a lot less trial and error).

Now — how to tell when your writer’s voice is refined enough?
